Soooooooo...........Here is my creation!!! I am so into the metal tape art technique at the moment, so I thought I would have a go at making a prison door type thing to go with the cute PIG INMATE digi image and sentiment. It was so much fun to do, I covered BBQ skewers with foil tape to make the prison bars, and a cut up spellbinders cross to do the door hinges. So can you guess the Band??? well .....actually, I have chosen two bands that are fitting for this card!!!!
Yayyyyy!!! I'm sure you guessed it....Firstly it could be "The Wanted" The English-Irish boy band who have had hits with Chasing the sun, and Glad you came.
http://cardandjewelrycorner.blogspot.com/ and check out her Band Creation....after leaving me a bit of love :)
This is SO great!! I love what you are doing with that metal look. Your design fits your bands perfectly!
ReplyDeleteJane, you always rock these challenges!! That metal is FABULOUS and well, I LOVE The Wanted!! Great job!!
ReplyDeleteYou are such a clever girl, and always have the perfect design. I LOVE the metal on your card, and though I hate to say, poor piggie is a perfect killer! Great job with lining up these bands for our show! :)
ReplyDeleteI am really liking this metal technique - I have to get it to my short list and do it soon!! Such a cute and clever card - Those boys from The Wanted are so suave.. "so glad I came" to your blog cause as usual you don't disappoint! ROCK ON!

ooh, that metallic looks great! haha...great way to represent these bands (and incorporate Hambo's Pig!)
ReplyDeleteLove your metallic look. So clever and perfect for both of these bands.
ReplyDeleteWow that is one good looking metal door (and pig)! Love the hinges on the door and the skewer bars. Fun idea for your two bands.
ReplyDeleteHi Jane! Yay! You brought us into the 21st Century! I really dated myself with the band I chose, lol. I'm just feeling pretty hip that I knew who The Wanted is and that I had heard of the Killers--one of my son's favorites. Your prison door is fab--love the hinges! Pig inmate is one of my favorite digis. You rock!
ReplyDeleteWonderful job the way you put this card together depicting TWO bands! Love how you did the door. Pig Inmate looks great!
